Artistic Red Panda goes viral after showing off impressive painting skills

A CREATIVE Red Panda named Sorrel has become an internet star after a video of her painting a picture was shared by her zoo handlers.

The impressive young panda is a resident of Birmingham Zoo, where she takes part in "enrichment and training exercises" which the zoo offers to "promote strong mental and physical health" among their animals.

In this particular video, her handlers reveal she is working on her "paint behaviour".

The zoo provides visitors an opportunity to watch the animals in action on such activities on a daily basis.

And Sorrel's work is so good it can even be purchased at the Birmingham Zoo gift shop.

She already has a raft of fans of course, with some of them taking to Twitter to share their panda praise.
