Adele pays tribute to frontline workers in surprise message marking 32nd birthday

ADELE HAS paid tribute to the frontline workers all over the world risking their lives to keep us safe.

In an Instagram post marking the singer’s 32nd birthday, the Someone Like You star urged fans to stay safe during these uncertain times.

She wrote: "Thank you for the birthday love.

“I hope you’re all staying safe and sane during this crazy time.

"I’d like to thank all of our first responders and essential workers who are keeping us safe while risking their lives!

“You are truly our angels 2020 okay bye thanks."

The post is the singer’s first on the social media platform this year.

It’s also the first to showcase her dramatic seven-stone weight loss.

Adele can be seen posing within a giant floral wreath, outside a white house in the picture.

The Grammy Award-winning musician has been keeping a low profile since announcing her split from ex-husband Simon Konecki in April 2019.

She filed for divorce in September of the same year, citing “irreconcilable differences”.

The couple share a son, seven-year-old Angelo.

Adele is rumoured to be working on a new album which could arrived in 2020.

Any plans to tour in support of the new release is likely to be put on hold, however, due to the global lockdown.
