Appeal for help to find toddler Jasmine Arshad missing from Roscommon home

GARDAI ARE appealing to the public for help in locating a toddler who has gone missing from her home in Co Roscommon. 

The authorities believe that Jasmine Arshad, who is almost two years old , is with her father Arshad Shiraz, aged 38. 

However, their current whereabouts remain unknown. 

The pair were last seen together at the family home in in Ballaghaderreen, Co Roscommon on Friday, July 3. 

Jasmine was officially reported missing at 5.30pm that same day. 

A garda spokesperson said: "Gardai are satisfied that Jasmine and Arshad travelled from Ballaghadereen to Dublin via public transport at approximately 1.35pm on Friday, June 3 and disembarked in the city centre at approximately 4.30pm. 

"An Garda Siochana are not aware of Jasmine's whereabouts at this time."

Anyone with information related to the current location of Jasmine or Arshad is being asked to contact Castlerea Garda Station on 094 962 1630. 

Alternatively, they can contact the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or visit any local Garda Station to provide a statement. 

Gardai are also urgently appealing for Jasmine's father to make contact with an update on their whereabouts.
