Belfast bus driver praised for random act of kindness to homeless man

A BELFAST bus driver has been praised for his random act of kindness after he stopped to give a homeless man a winter coat in the pouring rain.

University student Anna Marie McDaniel was travelling home on Tuesday, when she spotted a homeless man, whom she usually sees on her journey.

The driver of the bus that she was on pulled over and gestured to the man that he’d bought him a winter coat.

Anna Marie was so touched by this act of kindness that she took to Translink’s Facebook page to praise the driver.

The post has received an overwhelming response with over 65,000 likes and has been shared over 3,600 times.
