Gardai searching for owner of puppy dog found waiting in police station

GARDAI ARE appealing for help in tracking down the owner of an adorable dog who made a surprise appearance at a local police station.

The dog was first found wandering around a station in Drumcondra.

Officers have now taken to Twitter to try and track down the owner.

Gardai are already joking about the fact the dog seemingly turned up at the station to hand himself in.

They are now appealing for help in finding the owner with the dog said to be cute, unarmed and considered seriously adorable.

A post on the Garda Info Twitter page reads : "This lovely young pup just presented himself at the counter of Dundrum Garda Station to report his owner missing !!

"Can anyone help him? Any info to Dundrum GS 01-6665600."

The discovery comes just a few weeks after a dog was found wandering a train bound for Dublin.

The dog’s discovery sparked off a nationwide search for the owner, who was eventually found and later reunited with their beloved pup.

Here’s hoping for another happy ending here.
