POLICE in London are searching for a man captured on CCTV wearing an Irish soccer jersey in connection with a sexual assault on a bus.
Scotland Yard have issued an appeal for the man in connection with the assault, which involved a 17-year-old girl.
The assault was carried out on a number 177 bus travelling between Woolwich New Road and Central Way in the Thamesmead area of London city on April 23.
The suspect is described as a white man, medium build, aged about 30 to 40 years of age, with short dark hair.
“Unwanted sexual behaviour on the transport network is not tolerated and all sexual offences are taken very seriously,” Scotland Yard said in its appeal.
