A MAN has died in a house fire in the village of Drimoleague, Co. Cork.
Emergency services were called to the fire on High Street at around 12.45am.
The 59-year-old man received medical assistance but was pronounced dead at the scene.
A forensic examination is being carried out although the fire is not believed to be suspicious.
A post mortem is due to be carried out later today.
