Motorcyclist dies in Ireland after bike collides with pole

A MOTORCYCLIST has died in Dublin today after his bike collided with a pole.

The incident took place in Dunsink Park in Finglas at around 3pm.

The man, aged in his 30s, was rushed to James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown, however he later passed away as a result of his injuries.

Diversions are in place while gardaí carry out a forensic examination of the scene.
