Offaly hurler turned model dons GAA jersey in latest issue of Vogue fashion magazine

A FORMER Offaly hurler turned fashion model has been featured in a GAA jersey in the latest issue of Vogue Paris.

19-year-old Oisin Murphy features in the August edition of the hugely popular fashion publication, and is decked out in an O'Neill's GAA jersey and full kit in one of the shots.

The young model, signed to Not Another Agency in Ireland, stars alongside model and activist Adwoa Aboah in a dreamy editorial shot in the Irish countryside.

Oisin still made time to return to the GAA pitch last weekend, captaining the winning 7-a-side team last weekend and lifting the GAA Battle of Champions crown.

Vogue described the photoshoot as a "tale of romance" in a photo shared to their Instagram, which boasts over 43 million followers.

"Escape to the sumptuous surroundings of the Irish countryside, for a 90s-tinged tale of romance in the August issue of Vogue Paris," they said.

Former Kerry footballer Paul Galvin praised Murphy on Instagram, sharing the photo with the caption "Lovely hurling @officialgaa . You made Vogue Paris."

Here's a shot of Oisin in his Offaly gear.
