PIERS MORGAN has urged members of the public to get vaccinated against Covid-19 by sharing a series of tweets from an individual who rejected the jab.
Taking to Twitter, the 56-year-old shared the story of an anti-vaxx father who appeared to refuse the vaccine, before catching the virus and sadly passing away.
Morgan posted four of the man's tweets, the last of which came from his daughter, who revealed that her father had died after succumbing to the illness.
"The tragedy of refusing to take covid & vaccines seriously. Get the jab," wrote Morgan.
The tweets Morgan shared appear to be from an American man, known only as Brent H. In one post, he writes: "I've never taken a flu shot and I'll never take a COVID shot!"

In another, he says: "Zinc and vitamin D regiment > Moderna and Phizer [sic]."
In response to another user in May this year, he wrote: "I haven't taken it and haven't had any COVID issues."
But the last tweet, written by his daughter, reveals a more tragic story.
"This is Brent's daughter ... dad died of COVID. He had no underlying conditions and was in his early 50s.
"I know he's been saying otherwise, but PLEASE save your families this heartache.
"Go get your shot."
