ONE OF Ireland’s biggest and best bands came back with a bang last year after a 7 year break, and they’re certainly making up for lost time.
Having released a new album and playing around the world on two separate tours, the Northern Irish 5-piece have today announced yet another new album, called ‘Reworked’, and another tour to promote it.
If you’re a Snow Patrol fan (like this writer is) you’ll be on a dizzying high right now (which this writer absolutely is).
The band made the announcement on social media today, saying:
“We’ve some exciting news to share with you to kick start your weekend. Our new album, “Reworked” is coming and we’re taking it on the road this winter!
The album will be available soon and tickets go on general sale 10am Friday 6th September. But if you pre-order any format (including limited signed bundles) from our official store, or sign up for early access by 5pm Tuesday 3rd September you’ll receive an email with a code to our pre-sale which starts 10am Wednesday 4th September.
To give you a taste of what’s to come from the album and tour we hope you enjoy Reworked EP1. Can’t wait to see you all there! SP x”
Fans in the comments section immediately began tagging their friends and talking about how excited they were, with many saying the news had made their day.
Earlier this year, the Scotland-based band won the honour of having the most-played radio song of the century with their iconic bop ‘Chasing Cars’.
The tickets are sure to sell out quickly, with avid fans around Ireland and the UK already counting their change and setting their alarms to get tickets before they vanish.
