The weather this week will be very mixed

The unpredictable weather is to continue.

Monday's rain will be light and intermittent and amounts will be small again in most areas.

During the afternoon, drier weather will set in with just a few showers that will follow into the north.

Temperatures will be 9 to 11 degrees Celsius through much of the day, turning cooler later on.

Tuesday will be dry generally with sunny spells.

Highest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees in moderate northwest breezes.

On Tuesday night some rain will develop, mainly over northern parts, with most of the south staying dry.

Lowest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees.

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle, but amounts will be small.

Highest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees in light westerly winds.

Most areas will be dry on Wednesday night with lowest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees.

Thursday is looking generally dry as well with some sunshine breaking through.

During Friday high pressure will gradually become less dominant but it looks like it will stay mainly dry until Friday night.
