THE SECRET to achieving natural, healthy-looking skin could lie in dog's urine.
That's according to US Facebook sensation Lynn Lew, who took to social media to reveal how regular cups of the yellow stuff have helped clear up her acne.
Not only that, but Lynn also reckons dog's urine has the potential to cure cancer.
In a video posted online, she films herself collecting a sample from her pet pooch in a plastic cup before downing the frothy liquid in one go.
"Until I first drank my dog's pee, I was depressed, I was sad, and I had bad acne," Lynn explains in the clip.
"Dog pee also has vitamin A in it, vitamin E in it, and it has 10 grams of calcium, and it's also proven to help cure cancer."
Some have, understandably, questioned the validity of the video, given that her cup is out of shot at one key moment.
Though urine therapy was a known practice in the time of the ancient Greeks and Romans, most experts suggest there are no health benefits to the practice.
Dr. Zubair Ahmed, from MedicSpot GP, told Metro.co.uk: "While drinking a small amount of urine is unlikely to be hazardous to your health, there is not enough modern evidence of its efficacy to suggest drinking it improves your skin."
In any case, Lynn doesn't seem like a reliable source for knowledge of this kind.
A previous Facebook post saw her lambast Wikipedia for 'incorrectly' categorising dolphins as mammals.
Maybe steer clear of the dog pee until we hear otherwise.
