England vs Wales preview: TV details, KO times, permutations for Wales, and everything else

ENGLAND AND WALES FACE each other tonight in the final Group B game of the Qatar World Cup.

The international derby provides different ramifications for both sides. Wales and England can both go out and through to the next round of World Cup, but some of the scenarios are more unlikely than others.

Wales will be looking to avenge their Euro 2016 defeat to Gareth Southgate's side tonight, while England will be looking to get back to winning ways after losing badly against Iran.

Here's a full rundown of the game tonight.

When's it on?

The game takes place on the 29th of November

Where's it on ?

Ahmad bin Ali Stadium.

What time is kick-off?

The game starts at 7pm.

Iran and the USA starts at the same time.

What TV channel is the game on ?

Free-to-air coverage will start at 6pm GMT live on BBC One. Fans can also stream the game live on BBC iPlayer and via the BBC Sport website.

RTE will start their coverage at 18:30. The RTE Player will also stream the game.

What have the coaches said?

Rob Page: "I think this tournament has shown every team is beatable. They’ve got a wonderful pool of players to choose from, I might add. Whatever team he puts on that pitch is going to be a tough challenge for us. We’re not just here to give disappointing performances, we want to give a good account of ourselves."

Gareth Southgate: "It’s like any two countries whose borders are together. It’s a great sporting rivalry, there’s no more than that. That feeling might not be mutual but I can understand that as well. I live in Yorkshire and they feel the same about the rest of England. It’s going to be a fantastic atmosphere in the stadium and we’re really looking forward to the game."

What can happen in the group ?

Wales beat England while USA and Iran draw - The more likely scenario of the two. For Wales reach the knockout stages. Iran and the USA have to draw, leaving Iran on four points and USA on three. Both Wales and Iran have a goal difference of -2 ahead of the matches so a win for Wales would improve that figure and put them second.

Wales beat England by seven goals - This highly unlikely scenario would see Wales move above England in the final league table and is the only way they could guarantee a spot in the Last 16 and not have to worry about the USA vs Iran result.

If England win, lose or draw by a low score- They go through to the next round. England are comfortabaly in the next round without the rubber stamp approval.

Both teams last result in the group

England drew 0-0 with the USA

Wales were beaten 2-0 by Iran
