BENNETTSBRIDGE netted three first half goals as Fullen Gaels All Ireland junior hurling final dream ended in heartbreak at Croke Park.

The Kilkenny side were dominant in the opening period as Brian Lannon, Liam Blanchfield, and Hugh O'Neill all rattled the Fullen Gaels net.

Vincent Morrissey, who had impressed for Fullen Gaels, was sent off after half-time, but the underdogs did score a late consolation goal courtesy of substitute Tom Corcoran.
