Mark Noble ready to declare for Ireland - reports

WEST HAM midfielder Mark Noble could line-up for Ireland in their Euro 2016 qualifier against Germany amid reports that the 27-year-old is ready to declare for Martin O'Neill.

Noble, who has previously represented England at U-21 level, was not included by Roy Hodgson in the provisional senior squad this week.

The England manager instead named uncapped midfielders Jack Colback and Fabian Delph in the team, leading Noble to reportedly focus his attentions to Ireland.

He is eligible to be chosen by Martin O’Neill through his Cork-born grandparents.

Noble could potentially travel with Ireland to Germany for the clash in Gelsenkirchen on October 14 if his passport is fast tracked.

The Ireland manager will have much to consider this week with captain Robbie Keane emerging as an injury concern ahead of the clash with Georgia on September 7.
