Red Bull Racing will take to Dublin's streets this January

IRISH FANS OF FORMULA 1 will be delighted to know that the The Red Bull Formula 1 team will soon be in Dublin for an 'epic show run in January.

The event will take place at the Dublin City Centre on Sunday, January 15 2023.

Former Formula One driver David Coulthard will race through Dublin's streets in Sebastian Vettel’s Championship-winning RB7 car.

Red Bull Motorsports Athletes Conor Shanahan (Drifter) and Mike Jensen (Stunt Bike Rider) will also join Coulthard on the day.

The event comes weeks after the Red Bull team defended their F1 crown with 16 wins, 26 podium finishes, and the largest single-season points haul in F1 history.

A statement on the Red Bull website read: " To celebrate conquering both Formula 1 Championships this season, Oracle Red Bull Racing is coming to Dublin City Centre on Sunday, January 15 2023.

"2022 was Oracle Red Bull Racing’s most successful year ever. Now the Team is heading to Dublin to celebrate their success. This epic event will feature former Formula One driver David Coulthard as he demonstrates the roaring power, speed, and sound of Sebastian Vettel’s Championship-winning RB7 car live before thousands of thrilled spectators.

"Red Bull Motorsports Athletes Conor Shanahan and Mike Jensen will join Coulthard for the Show Run, in an epic display of skill and showmanship.

"Tickets for Red Bull’s motorsports event of the year are now SOLD OUT.

"Event subject to approval by Dublin City Council."

Fans will also be able to view the legendary RB7 up close on Saturday, 14th January from 13:00-17:00 at the Paddock - opposite the Central Bank on North Wall Quay - with free entry.
