FROM stars of the West End to some of Ireland’s most popular music and dance acts, there’s no shortage of live entertainment for all the family at this year’s London St Patrick’s Day Festival.

With MC Maggie Doyle kicking off the festivities make sure to catch your favourite acts live on stage.

HOW TO GET THERE

By Train

The nearest mainline railway station to Trafalgar Square is Charing Cross which is only 325m or approximately three minutes’ walk from Trafalgar Square.

By Tube

Charing Cross Underground Station, served by the Northern and Bakerloo lines, is the closest Underground Station to Trafalgar Square.

For step-free access the nearest Underground Station is Westminster Underground Station served by the Jubilee, District and Circle lines. Outside Westminster station buses 12, 24, 88 or 453 will stop at a bus stop within 150m of Trafalgar Square.

By Bus

Bus services will be suspended on Piccadilly as the St Patrick’s Day parade gathers from 9.30am and then around the parade route (including Trafalgar Square) from 11am.

The affected bus routes include: 3, 6, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 15H, 19, 22, 23, 24, 29, 38, 53, 87, 88, 91, 94, 139, 159, 176, 453, C2. These changes to the service will remain in place until the parade has finished.

 

PLAN AHEAD ON PARADE DAY

Drivers are advised to, wherever possible, avoid affected areas and allow more time to travel. The parade will travel along Whitehall via Piccadilly, Piccadilly Circus, Lower Regent Street, Waterloo Place, Pall Mall, Cockspur Street, Trafalgar Square, (southwest side), Whitehall and into Whitehall Place, therefore these roads will be closed until the parade has finished.
