NEWLY-engaged women in Birmingham are in for an exclusive treat next month when one of Ireland’s best-loved bridal designers descends on the city.
Dublin favourite Sharon Hoey will debut her 2015 collection at The Wedding Club on February 21 and 22 — just in time to catch any Valentine’s Day proposals.
The newly-betrothed will be introduced to Hoey’s signature lace and sequin detailing, as well as her handcrafted romantic style, honed over an impressive 30-year career, at the event.
The Sharon Hoey Trunk Show will feature 10-15 dresses, with the couture designs starting at £2,500, The Wedding Club bridal boutique confirmed this week.
But each dress will be tailor-made to fit its owner, claim the Hoey brand, who are “passionate about every single detail from start to finish” and keen to help their brides choose something that is “right for them”.
Made in a Dublin studio by a team of skilled craftsmen and women, the entire Hoey 2015 collection boasts “understated elegance”, the design house added.
Hoey’s debut at The Wedding Club, which is based in the heart of Edgbaston, sees her join the likes of Berta, Elie Saab and Jenny Packham, which are all carried at the store.
