Craobh Rua embark on British tour

Belfast banjo/mandolin player Brian Connolly takes his trad outfit Craobh Rua (meaning Red Branch) to Britain for their annual March tour.

Founded by Brian in the mid-eighties the band has featured on many compilations and recorded five albums to date although I am sure they would concede that a new album is long overdue.

They have performed at concerts and festivals all over the world and will perform nine consecutive UK gigs starting at St.Leonards on March 13 March, Monksilver (14), Hitchin (15), Nettlebed (16), Salisbury (17), Bath (18), Birmingham (19), Nailsea (20) and Wooton-Under-Edge (21).

Full details for all these gigs are on the band’s website www.craobhrua.com
