Footage from Euro 2016 catches sea of Irish football fans in green jerseys having the best time in Paris

Irish football fans waving at a camera in Montmartre, Paris

EVEN if the Irish football team isn't playing a match in the EURO 2016 Championship for another day, that won't stop the fans having fun in France.

In this one-minute clip, recorded by Sportnews Ireland and posted on YouTube, a sea of Irish football fans in Montmartre were filmed having a great time and cheering at a moving car.

The video starts at the head of the Boulevard de Clichy road which hosts many Irish pubs, including The Harp Bar, Corcoran's Irish Pub and O'Sullivan's, before moving on to the famous Moulin Rouge.

Congregated outside the Irish pubs were throngs of Irish football fans waving and cheering at the passing vehicle, with some even climbing a public toilet to be seen by the camera.
