TG4’S entertainment series Féilte will be delivering the festive sound of the Irish in London to viewers across the Irish Sea this weekend.
Presenter Caoimhe Ní Chonchoille will be bringing audiences the wealth of Irish music and talent from the Moran Crown Hotel in Cricklewood on Sunday 22 December.
Colette O'Leary, Brian Kelly and Alexander Percy from The Long Notes - who have performed at Glastonbury and Celtic Connections - will be performing traditional music on the programme.
They will be joined by special guests Andrew North and Mark Conyard.
New traditional music group The Crossharbour Band - who recently gained popularity within London's popular Irish music scene - will also be performing.
The band will accompany renowned Irish dancer Caroline Boyce as she dances a newly choreographed routine. She has previously toured worldwide with both Riverdance and Lord of the Dance.
Kerry native and emerging star in London’s West End Susie Griffin (Evita) is due to sing a version of O'Holy Night whilst accompanied by guitarist Jamie Jackson.
Award-winning singer Rosie Hodgson also joins the talented list of musicians to perform an original piece Need Not Declare; she is joined by Philippe Barnes on guitar.
Connemara’s influence in this Christmas event comes from accomplished sean-nós dancer Noel Griffin who will perform with his sons Seán and Felim Griffin.
