There's a new Irish horror movie set in Dublin and it looks terrifying

If you thought you'd never see a zombie takeover in Dublin, you might want to look away now.

There's a brand new Irish horror film set to be released, and it's based in Dublin.

The Cured stars Tom Vaughan Lawlor (Love/Hate, Maze, Peaky Blinders) and Ellen Page (Juno, Inception).

The synopsis of the movie reads as follows:

"What happens when the undead return to life? In a world ravaged for years by a virus that turns the infected into zombie-like cannibals, a cure is at last found and the wrenching process of reintegrating the survivors back into society begins. Among the formerly afflicted is Senan (Sam Keeley), a young man haunted by the horrific acts he committed while infected.
"Welcomed back into the family of his widowed sister-in-law (Ellen Page), Senan attempts to restart his life—but is society ready to forgive him and those like him? Or will fear and prejudice once again tear the world apart?”
The movie will be screened at this year’s Audi Dublin International Film Festival which takes place from 21st February to the 8th March.
Pop along to see it...if you're brave enough!
