Do you remember when you first left Ireland to live abroad? The Irish Post is looking for your photos...

THE Irish Post is looking for readers to submit photos from when you first moved to Britain to be featured as part of a photo story.

As the largest selling newspaper for the Irish community in Britain, we are looking for readers to tell their story of moving over for the first time through photographs.

Our community is so vibrant in culture from all walks of life so we want to hear from you.

Tell us how you came to be in Britain and how you found your first few days along with your photograph from when you first moved.

Your picture can be an image of you, your first accommodation, in the airport or on the ferry, or something completely different that means something to you.

Whether you came in 1950 or you've just arrived, we want to hear from you.

Send your photo, your name and a little about yourself and your photo to [email protected] or send a letter to Erica Doyle Higgins c/o The Irish Post, 88 Fenchurch Street, London, EC3M 4BY.
