Baby P mother back in prison after 'selling pornographic images of herself'

THE mother of tragic toddler Baby P is back in prison, after attempting to sell pornographic images of herself.

The attempted sale of these images broke the terms of Tracey Connelly’s release and she has been sent back to prison.

Ms Connelly was jailed in 2008 over the death of her son Peter. She was released in October 2013 on licence.

Peter, known as Baby P during the high profile court case, died in August 2007 aged 17 months. He had multiple injuries, including a broken back.

Ms Connelly, who is second generation Irish, was jailed for six years, while her partner received a 12 year sentence and his brother was handed down a six year term for the death of the child.

He was found to have died from child abuse – with Ms Connelly, her partner Steven Barker and his brother Jason Owen found guilty of “causing or allowing” his death.

It is understood Ms Connelly had attempted to sell the pictures to “fans” of her notoriety.

She was incarcerated in Styal Prison in Cheshire on Sunday for breaching the conditions of her bail.
