Coronas singer Danny O'Reilly leads haunting cover of Grace to mark Ireland's Easter Rising centenary

ONE of Ireland's most musical families have recorded an incredible Easter Rising tribute at Kilmainham Gaol.

The Coronas lead singer Danny O'Reilly, his sister Róisín O and their cousin Aoife Scott recorded this hauntingly beautiful rendition of Grace, an Irish song about 1916 rebel Grace Gifford.

The trio sang a capella, each standing in front of a cell door in Kilmainham Gaol, where Gifford married her fiancé Joseph Mary Plunkett hours before his execution for his part in the Rising.

Their rendition of Grace will be played during an RTÉ centenary programme, airing tonight at 9.35pm.

Danny and Róisín are the children of renowned Irish singer Mary Black, while Aoife is the daughter of Frances Black.

This cover will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end.
