Details of the horrific deaths of the Clodagh Hawe and her family to be revealed at inquest

CLODAGH Hawe and her sons Niall, Liam and Ryan were murdered by Alan Hawe in one of the most shocking murder-suicide cases in Irish history.

In August 2016, the bodies of the family were found by Gardaí after Clodagh's mother Mary Coll arrived to the Hawe residence, finding a note that instructed her to not enter.

40-year-old Alan Hawe murdered his three sons, Ryan (6), Niall (11) and Liam (14) before ending the life of his wife, Clodagh (39) in their home in Castlerahan on Co. Cavan.

The inquest, beginning on Monday 18th December will finally reveal how the bodies were discovered at the Hawe family home according to The Irish Mirror.

In September 2016, a mass funeral for all five members of the family was held to pay respects to the family. However, after the discovery of multiple suicide notes left behind by Alan, Clodagh's family went about the process of removing his body from the family plot.

The inquest starting this week will hopefully shed more light on the reasons why 40-year-old Alan Hawe mercilessly took the lives of 4 members of his family.
