Family 'extremely concerned' for missing Irishman Damien Houlihan

A 40 year old Irishman is missing since Friday, and his family are increasingly concerned about him.

A post about Damien Houlihan has been shared widely by the Irish community on Facebook.

Mr Houlihan's last known movement was when he bought a train ticket from London to Brighton on Friday, May 13.

His brother Tony is quoted on Independent.ie saying“We are extremely concerned about him. He left his apartment in Cork two weeks ago. We do know that he travelled to London and that last Friday morning he bought a train ticket to Brighton...He didn’t bring his phone with him.  He had some cash and his bank cards.”

Mr Houlihan is described as being around six foot in height and of medium build.

He is originally from Adare Co.Limerick and has been working and living in Cork for the last number of years.

The Facebook post reads:

Irish Man (40) Missing Damien Houlihan

Damien's last known movement was when he bought a train ticket for the Southern Railway from London to Brighton at 7.15am on Friday May 13.

His family are extremely concerned for his safety at this stage and would appreciate your help in locating him. If you do meet him, please contact the nearest police station ASAP.
