Irishman in Britain missing for two weeks after telling family he was going to Ireland

UPDATE: Michael Connors has been found safe and well

AN IRISHMAN based in Britain has been missing for more than two weeks after telling his family he was travelling to Ireland.

Michael Connors, 57, from Dunmow in Essex hasn’t been seen since September 1, when he assured his family he was heading to Ireland.

Essex Police say they are now very concerned for his welfare.

Michael is described as being 5' 8'' tall with dark brown hair and an Irish accent.

When last seen he was wearing a black sleeveless top, cargo bottoms and flip-flops.

He has links to Derby and police believe he is travelling in his car, a White Ford Focus, which has the Irish registration 132-D-10144.

Anyone with information is asked to call police in Braintree on 101.
