Man, 30, shot in both legs in paramilitary-style attack in Northern Ireland

A MAN has been shot in a paramilitary-style attack in north Belfast, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has confirmed.

The victim, who is 30, was shot in both legs in the attack, which took place at around 9pm last night (October 2) at Velsheda Court in the Ardoyne area of Belfast.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment, although his injuries are "not thought to be life-threatening".

"PSNI are investigating after a man (30) was shot in both legs at Velesha Ct in Ardoyne," the force confirmed via Twitter late last night.

"Injuries not thought to be life-threatening," they added.
