AN Irish woman who has been missing from Hayes, West London has been found.

Ms McLaughlin, who is from Achill in Co. Mayo, suffers from Alzheimer’s and her family had issued a plea for help to find her.

The Irish woman had been missing for two days and was found by police at Golders Green station at around 11am today.

Ms Mclaughlin's daughter Lisa told Independent.ie: "It was terrifying. After two days of being out by herself she must be absolutely exhausted, we don't know if she has been eating, drinking water or sleeping at all.

"The police said said that she appears well so they're going to bring her home to us, then if she needs it we'll bring her to the hospital to get checked over. We just can't wait to get her home now."
