A PEDESTRIAN has died following a hit-and-run incident in Ireland in the early hours of this morning.
The man, aged in his 30s, was struck by a car on the Rathbeale Road (R125) in Swords, Co. Dublin at around 1.30 morning.
The driver of the car failed to remain at the scene while the pedestrian was pronounced dead a short time later.
The dark-coloured saloon car was driven off in the direction of Ashbourne.
