Police appeal to find vulnerable Irishman Maurice O'Reilly missing in London

POLICE in London are concerned for the welfare of a vulnerable Irishman who has been missing since yesterday morning.

Maurice O'Reilly, 64, was last seen at around 9.15am on Streatham High Road, heading towards Brixton, on Wednesday, March 9, after he left his care home in Streatham Common.

Police officers and Mr O’Reilly’s carers are concerned for his safety and wellbeing as he has cognitive problems and a pulmonary disorder, which requires medication.

Mr O’Reilly, also known as Mossy, was last seen wearing a beige jumper and white skinny trainers.

He is described as white, with an Irish accent, around 5ft 11ins tall with a heavy build. He has facial scarring and a protruding lump over his left eye.

Mr O'Reilly is known to have links to the Westminster area.

Anyone who has seen Mr O'Reilly or who knows of his whereabouts is asked to call police in Lambeth via 101.
