Police appeal for information after three-year-old boy left seriously injured following car accident

A THREE-YEAR-OLD has been left with serious injuries after being involved in a collision with a car in Cricklewood, north London yesterday afternoon.

The boy was walking along Shoot Up Hill in Brent at around 3pm yesterday when a silver VW Golf collided with him, detectives from the Metropolitan Police's Serious Collision Unit have confirmed.

Police and the London Ambulance Service both attended the scene of the incident, which has left the toddler with serious injuries.

He is currently in a serious but stable position in a central London hospital.

The driver stopped at the scene and has been assisting officers with their enquiries.

No arrest has been made.
