'Tube pusher' arrested for attempted murder after man falls on station tracks in London

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after another man fell onto the tracks of a Tube station in London.

Police were called to reports of an assault resulting in a man falling from the platform at Barons Court Underground station at around 11.15pm last night.

The victim, aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital with minor injuries after landing on the tracks at the West Kensington station.

He was not struck by a train.

In a statement, British Transport Police (BTP) confirmed an arrest had been made as part of their investigation into the incident.

"A number of enquiries are underway to establish what happened and the circumstances leading to the victim being on the tracks," a spokesman said.
