TWO men have been arrested after a man was attacked with a hammer at his home in Belfast this morning.
The pair, aged 30 and 39, have been detained in connection with the assault, which took place in the Springmeadow area of West Belfast.
The incident happened at around 4am, after the victim answered a knock at his door only to be confronted by two men and a woman.
The arrested men were detained a short time later and remain in custody assisting police with their enquiries.
