FAI and Cadbury Ireland renew for three more years

Cadbury Ireland have announced a three-year contract extension with the Football Association of Ireland extending their commitment to support women’s football and the Republic of Ireland Women’s National Team. The extension will see the Cadbury Become A Supporter And A Half campaign continue to encourage engagement, participation, and visibility in the women’s game from Grassroots to international levels through their Cadbury Supporter And A Half campaign.

Commenting on the renewed partnership announcement, FAI CEO Jonathan Hill said, “We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with Cadbury Ireland. It is increasingly important for us to have partners who not only support our Ireland Women's National Team but women’s football at all levels, and that is exactly what Cadbury has done with this campaign. We are looking forward to continuing our working relationship with Cadbury to help encourage more women to get involved in the game and inspire the next generation of girls.

Since the partnership began in October 2021, Cadbury has directly supported over 50 grassroots clubs with training and facilities support, including training sessions with team captain Katie McCabe and members of the Women’s National Team; Coaching the Coaches sessions with FAI officials; direct financial support to clubs, including its Grounds For Change campaign, which gave equipment and upgraded pitches to 3 clubs in Donegal, Dublin, and Cork; as well as nationwide marketing campaigns and many more prizes to help clubs drive women’s football.  Connecting the Women’s National Team with Cadbury supporters in a real way is how Cadbury brings its partnership to life, and the next three years will see a continuation of that through many acts of generosity synonymous with the brand.
