BOTH SEAMUS POWER AND SHANE LOWRY have been included in the Great Britain and Ireland team to face a Continental Europe side in next year's Hero Cup in Abu Dhabi.
Power sits on top of PGA Tour's FedEx Cup standings after a win and two top-five finishes in his first three events of the 2022-23 season.
BMW PGA Championship winner Lowry will also join his countryman at the tournament next January.
The Irish pair were two of the 18 golfers selected by European Ryder Cup Captain Luke Donald today.
Other players selected on the Continental Europe team include Victor Perez and 2022 Irish Open winner Adrian Meronk. Tyrrell Hatton will also line out for GB and Ireland.
Francesco Molinari and Tommy Fleetwood will be captains for both teams respectively.

Dr Pawan Munjal, Chairman and CEO, Hero MotoCorp, said: 'We are delighted to see the best of emerging talent from Europe together with established Major Champions and Ryder Cup stars at the upcoming Hero Cup in January. It is going to be a fantastic week of top class golf and a keen tussle on the course between these two strong teams.'
Donald added: "We all thought it was important to combine experience and youthfulness and I think we have found that balance with a mixture of major champions and Ryder Cup players, alongside guys who are hoping to secure a spot in Rome next year."
One remaining place for each team will be allocated at the end of the DP World Tour calendar year.
The event will take place at Abu Dhabi Golf Club from January 13-15, 2023.
