Sinead O'Connor wants to 'get this stupid s**t off my face'

SINEAD O'Connor has decided to remove her face tattoos, only a year and a half after she decided to get them inked.

She took to Twitter this morning to ask her followers for advice in finding a good place where she could get the tattoos removed.

“Ok, it's time to get this stupid sh*t off my face,” the 47-year-old wrote.

“Any1 know an excellent tattoo removal person? Someone said a guy in Harley st can do in one shot... Any1 know him? Or similar here [sic]?”

The singer has since removed the tweet from her account.

O'Connor has the letters ‘B’ and ‘Q’ tattooed on her face, and was first pictured with them while performing at Bestival in the Isle of Wight last September.

O’Connor reportedly decided to tattoo her cheeks after she had a row with a man, and explained at the time that she wanted to get the tattoos of his initials so that she could have a constant reminder of the argument.

In an earlier blog post she admitted that the letters stand for the man's name, Brendan Quinlan.
