'I've no lift' - Irishman documents epic four-hour walk home from night out on Snapchat with hilarious results

A SERIES of Snapchat videos recorded by an Irishman on an epic odyssey of a walk home from the pub has blown up online.

Joe Troy embarked on the late night trek through the Co. Offaly countryside after missing out on a ride home.

Facing him was a perilous ramble from Shinrone all the way to Rath – a distance of over 22 kilometres.

To pass the time, Joe treated his followers to a number of sing-songs over the four-hour journey, along with a number of barely-successful attempts at sprinting home.

As brave as Joe’s Friday night walkies - posted by James Gleeson on Facebook -  were though, he isn’t a superhuman.

Joe is seen in the car on the way home after being picked up by his impressively devoted mammy, who he promptly treats to a round of radio sing-along.

He might have cheated but at least he made it back home before sunrise.

If you can’t take a spontaneous odyssey of a walk home on a Friday night, when else can you?

Here’s to you, Joe.

This has to be the funniest snap chat story ever Joe Troy ur a gas man ur my hero ?
