A MAN has been arrested in Scotland following a bizarre stand-off with armed police in which he demanded that Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers returns to Celtic.
The 31-year-old man, armed with a weapon, barricaded himself inside a flat on Springbank Road in Paisley at around 11.15pm on Monday night.
Footage circulated on social media showing the man listing demands to armed officers and a specialist negotiator from a window.
In the clip, the man could be heard shouting: "I want a bag of cans, I want Brendan Rodgers back, I want a job."

White paint was also thrown out of the window before police were forced to close off the road to negotiate with the man.
According to the Daily Record, the man was talked down shortly after midnight and has been arrested and charged.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Police Scotland told the paper: "At 11.15pm on Monday, March 18, officers received reports of a male causing a disturbance on Springbank Road, Paisley.
"Armed police and a negotiator were dispatched to the scene.
"At 00.05 a 31-year-old man was detained and taken for hospital assessment.
"No one was injured. The 31-year-old was then arrested and charged. A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
