Floyd Mayweather takes swipe at Conor McGregor on Twitter

FLOYD MAYWEATHER and Conor McGregor are back throwing jabs at each other, but this time it's in the form of tweets.

World boxing champion Floyd Mayweather has remained fairly quiet since his record-breaking victory against Conor McGregor in Las Vegas last August.

McGregor, on the other hand, has been frequently aiming jibes at Mayweather on Twitter, and sparking rumors of a rematch.

Now, for the first time since the blockbuster bout last autumn, Mayweather has publicly had a go at McGregor, referencing recent headlines linking the Crumlin native with Irish gangland criminals.

It didn't take long for McGregor to reply to the tweet.

The quick-witted exchange comes just days after McGregor rented out an entire theme park in Dublin for himself and his family, and just a few hours after he appeared at the Pendulum Summit in Dublin and accepted an award from billionaire Richard Branson.
