Man dead following motor incident in Leinster

A MAN in his 50s has died following an incident involving two lorries in County Wexford.

The articulated lorries were approaching Rosslare Europort when one vehicle drove in front of the other, cutting the driver off.

The drivers of the lorries continued to drive into the port to leave the trailers ready for collection.

According to RTÉ, the drivers got out of their vehicles and had an argument about the previous cutting in earlier on.

One driver is said to have hit the other over the head and the victim of the assault died in the cab part of his lorry.

A post-mortem is due to take place to determine what the victim died of.

The scene of the incident has been sealed off pending a forensic examination.
