Former Arsenal Chairman Mr David Dein MBE to speak at The Irish Post Breakfast in The City 2019 to kick off St. Patrick’s season

THE IRISH POST is delighted to announce former Arsenal FC Chairman Mr David Dein MBE as the keynote speaker at our upcoming Breakfast in The City 2019 event, sponsored by DRS Bond Management.

The annual breakfast will once again be held at the headquarters of multinational law firm DWF LLP in the City of London’s iconic Walkie-Talkie Building on Friday March 1, from 8am to 9.30am.

Mr Dein was Vice-Chairman of north London giants Arsenal Football Club from 1983 to 2007 and was famously responsible for bringing legendary manager Arsène Wenger to the club in 1996.

He has also previously served as Vice-Chairman of the Football Association (FA) and sat on various committees within FIFA and UEFA including UEFA's Club Competition Committee and Executive Committee.

In December 2018, it was announced that Mr Dein had been awarded an MBE (Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) in the Queen's New Year’s honours list for his services to football and his current voluntary role as a motivational speaker in school and prisons.

Guests will be treated to a unique celebration of Irish business success in London to kick off the St. Patrick's season, with Mr Dein’s speech a guaranteed highlight.
