The DHL Stormers have named their team to face Munster in the URC Final

THE DHL STORMERS have named their team for the game against Munster in the Vodacom United Rugby Championship Final this Saturday.

Head coach John Dobson has selected a strong side for the game against Graham Rowntree's side.

The defending champions have a chance to stop Munster winning their first piece of silverware in 12 years.

Dobson has gone with a back three of Damian Willemse, Angelo Davids, and Leolin Zas.

The South African's have also gone with a midfield of Ruhan Nel, and Dan du Plessis.

Manie Libbok and Herschel Jantjies start as the outhalf and scrum half in Cape Town.

Steven Kitshoff starts as captains in the front row with Joseph Dweba and Frans Malherbe

Marvin Orie and Ruben van Heerden start in the second row

The side is finally completed by a back row Deon Fourie, Hacjivah Dayimani, and Evan Roos.

DHL Stormers Head Coach John Dobson said: “Both Deon and Marvin have been outstanding for us this season and they will add a lot both in terms of their ability and leadership on Saturday.

“We have a lot of respect for Munster, the truth is that we have never beaten them, so while we are thrilled to be playing at home we know it will be a big challenge against a good team.

“This will be the biggest crowd for any DHL Stormers match and it should be an amazing occasion for the team, our passionate supporters and the city of Cape Town.

“We are so grateful for the support that we enjoy and what this team means to so many people. We will do our best to soak up the atmosphere, enjoy every moment and play the kind of rugby that got us here,” he said.

The game will kick off at 5.30pm Irish time
