A MAN in his eighties has been left in a serious condition following a collision in Co. Derry.
The man was hit by a vehicle in the Bishop Street area yesterday and received a bad injury to his head.
The authorities were alerted and the man was rushed to hospital, where his condition has not been determined as stable.
According to Belfast Telegraph, an investigation into the incident has been launched and a 53-year-old man has been arrested.
It's believed he was under the suspicion of negligent driving but he was released on bail.
