Gardaí seize €30k worth of stolen laptops in Dublin search

GARDAÍ HAVE recovered 21 suspected stolen laptops with an estimated value of €30,000 following a search in the east of Dublin city.
A number of mobile phones, documents and cash were also seized during the search, which took place on Monday.
Gardaí say that 14 of the laptops have been matched to eight reported burglaries in the Dublin metropolitan region within the last two months.

A man in his 30s had been arrested, but has since been released, and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardaí say they will be reuniting the recovered property with the relevant owners in the coming days.
