ONE MAN was hospitalised and another is due in court following a physical fight at Dublin Airport yesterday.
Video footage emerged on social media showing the altercation which involved a number of men.
In the video, two men are seeng fighting before they are separated and clash once again. One man is then attacked by a third man from behind and falls to the gaunt before he is kicked in the head.
The man is then seen being dragged away by other passengers as other people try to intervene to break up the fight.
Gardaí and airport police responded to the incident and one man was taken to Beaumont Hospital where he is receiving treatment.
A man in his 20s was arrested and detained at Swords Garda station.
He has since been charged and is due to appear before Swords District Court on 14 June.
A spokesperson for the daa confirmed that an incident occurred at the airport yesterday evening which was attended by An Garda Síochána.
"As this incident is subject to a police investigation, we are unable to comment further at this time," the statement said.
