The body of an Irish woman was found in a pool earlier today.
The 54-year-old was found in a pool outside a villa in the area of Okrug Gornji on the island of Ciovo in Croatia.
Local police were alerted to the woman, believed to be on holidays, at 3am.
Police at the scene concluded there was no sign of foul play and that the death was accidental.
The Department of Foreign Affairs have said they are preparing to provide consular assistance to the family of the deceased.
