Man, 40s, dies after being found seriously injured in Dublin park

A MAN who was found seriously injured in a park in south Dublin this morning has passed away.

The man, aged in his 40s, was discovered by a passer-by in Sean Walsh Memorial Park, Tallaght shortly before 8am today.

He was rushed to Tallaght Hospital with chest injuries, where he later died this afternoon.

It is unclear how the man sustained the injuries.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward but are yet to establish the identity of the deceased.

The scene of the death in Sean Walsh Memorial Park has been preserved for examination by officers of the Garda Technical Bureau.
